As a “theatre without walls”, National Theatre of Scotland organise adventurous and site-specific performances at an ever-changing list of venues.
We were asked to create a biannual brochure series that would revitalise the company’s identity.
Theme and colour variation establish an ongoing relationship with audience members and inspire them to collect each issue. As a result, the final product ultimately lives beyond its original function.
Every issue utilises a rigorous design grid that allows for informational consistency and gives each show a distinctive voice and separate personality.
Our design introduced stability and uniformity to their communications, enabling their unconventional approach to shine through.
