Motherwell College

Motherwell College is Lanarkshire’s leading further education college. They asked us to enliven the communications material for their Prison Learning programme. We were keen to collaborate with such an innovative organisation that uses design to positively engage its audience.

An efficient construction minimises waste by maximising printable space. The die-cut, manilla-board cover not only binds the modest prospectus, but also keeps a tight hold on one of six site-specific inserts.

Our simple yet direct approach grew from careful consideration of accessibility and DDA guidelines. We also generated all the photographic imagery – a focus on the familiar and everyday reflects the practical nature of the study programmes.
