Cedric Price

Influential scholar and theorist Cedric Price shattered the boundaries of architectural practice by challenging the very foundations of modernist thought. We collaborated with NORD architects to design an exhibition featuring key ideas from the extensive archive of Price’s inspired, groundbreaking projects.

By combining a primary colour scheme with bold typography, the show’s visual treatment of information distils various quotes, diagrams and excerpted text into a functional, modular framework. The accompanying newsprint brochure expands on this approach by highlighting modern interpretations and commentary on Price’s eccentric legacy of ideas.

The exhibition was designed for A+DS (Architecture and Design Scotland) and curated by Dr Barnabas Calder (University of Stathclyde).
